EUGENE, Ore. – A man found guilty of a 2021 shooting in Eugene that left the victim permanently disabled has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, court records say.
Darren Lee Woods, then 57, shot a man he did not know in April 2021 on Kelso Street. The Lane County District Attorney’s office said the only connection between Woods and the victim was that they were both living on the same property.
