Skin fungus may hold key to fighting drug-resistant staph infections, study reveals

EUGENE, Ore. — There’s a silver lining to everything – including a fungus living on your skin.

Turns out, that fungus could help destroy drug-resistant bacteria – including those that can cause staph infections.
