Good Morning. Today, we are on the Western edge of a huge low pressure zone that was responsible for the cooler and stormier weather we had Monday and Tuesday. Because of its position, this trough is allowing for a small disturbance to ride its way into the PNW through the first half of today. If not for this disturbance, today would have been mostly sunny. Instead, we are looking at heavy cloud cover and area specific shower chances for the first half of the day. Showers will move from West to East today with the Coast seeing them as early as 5am. By the late morning to noon, Showers will be over the Valley and the Basin. After noon, shower activity will be entirely over the Cascades and foothills.
