EUGENE, Ore. – The Eugene Tea Festival was founded in 2019 and first held in 2023 after Executive Director and Founder, Madelaine Au, began attending tea festivals in the Pacific Northwest.
“I went to the Seattle Northwest Tea Festival in 2017,” Au said. “And I just fell in love with tea festivals, and then decided that we needed to have one in Eugene when I moved here in 2019.”
Au said attendance has doubled every year, from 500 in its first year to 1,000 attendees by 2024. This year — they were anticipating seeing 2,000 attendees…
