SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Springfield held it’s annual 76th Memorial Day ceremony at Veteran’s Plaza in honor of the men and women who died while serving in the U.S armed forces.
An F-15 flyover was set to kick off the ceremony promptly at 9:30am, but the fighter jet never came.
Nick Gillaspie, commander of the American Legion Post #40 said, he texted the pilot but jokingly said, “There was no answer. So I imagine he can’t text and drive.”…
