North Eugene High School was placed on lockdown the morning of May 29 due to nearby police activity involving reports of an armed juvenile and possible gunfire, according to Eugene School District 4J and Eugene Police.

According to police, officers were called at 11:39 a.m. to 2080 River Road after a dispute involving a group of juveniles, during which one was reported to be armed.
