Good Morning. Today is going to be hot and uneventful. We are under the influence of a building ridge with a particularly warm air mass wrapped up inside of it. With that, pressure will rise and temps will warm dramatically for today. We will start the day with sunshine and end it with complete sunshine, so the UV index will be very high. Expect temperatures today to potentially hit the low 90’s in the Basin while the Valley will be in the low 80’s and the Coast hits the mid 60’s. The weekend will be a calm one with a weak cold front arriving Saturday to regulate temperatures and bring a bit of cloud cover. That will lead into sunny but more average temps for Sunday through early next week.
