Eugene man sentenced to 108 months for unprovoked stabbing

EUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene man has been sentenced to 108 months in prison following a jury’s conviction for an unprovoked stabbing incident earlier this year.

On January 26, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., law enforcement responded to a report of a stabbing at the Jackson Market on West 7th Avenue. Investigations revealed that Nicholas Arnold had stabbed the victim eight times while the victim was seated on a chair in 8th Alley.
