EUGENE, Ore. — Protesters gathered outside of the federal building in downtown Eugene to oppose Avelo’s contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In April, the airline signed a contract with ICE to operate deportation flights. Those deportation flights have already begun and protestors want Avelo out of Eugene, as the airline has flights going in and out of Eugene Airport three times a week.
