SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — On Saturday, June 14, the Springfield Police Department K9 Unit will host its annual K9 Competition. Teams from across the region will travel to Springfield High School’s Silke Field for the chance to be this year’s top K9 team.
The competition involves timed events that include both the dog and the handler. Events include an agility course, area search, handler protection, fastest dog, and suspect apprehension.
