EUGENE, Ore. — Average gasoline prices in Eugene have decreased by 8.2 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging $3.81 per gallon, according to a GasBuddy survey of 78 stations in the area. Despite the recent drop, prices in Eugene are still 4.7 cents higher than a month ago but 9.5 cents lower than this time last year.
The national average price of gasoline has also seen a decline, falling 1.8 cents per gallon in the last week to an average of $3.07 per gallon. This national average is down 5.2 cents from a month ago and 32.8 cents lower than a year ago, based on GasBuddy data from over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
In Eugene, the cheapest gas station was priced at $3.39 per gallon Sunday, while the most expensive was $4.15 per gallon, marking a 76-cent difference. Across Oregon, the lowest price recorded was $3.22 per gallon, and the highest was $4.59 per gallon, a difference of $1.37…
