PeaceHealth and Everyone Village are joining forces to add a 10-bed recuperation wing to Everyone Village’s thriving 70-unit community for people transitioning out of homelessness.
At the same time, PeaceHealth, Volunteers in Medicine, and Everyone Village will open a two-room primary care medical on-site clinic–the building donated and built by Eugene School District 4J Future Build students, with PeaceHealth underwriting day-to-day operations–so discharged patients and village residents can receive seamless follow-up and primary care under one roof.
Everyone Village will assign dedicated staff who will work side-by-side with PeaceHealth’s care-management team, guiding each discharged patient into the village and surrounding them with tailored wellness support. Both the recuperation units and the clinic will be built by local high school students through 4J Future Build program—turning the project into a real-world classroom and a community health milestone.
