EUGENE, Ore. — A vacant lot along River Road is set to transform into nearly 50 affordable apartments as part of a city-funded effort to address Eugene’s growing housing needs.
The Eugene City Council has approved $700,000 in Affordable Housing Trust Fund dollars to support the development of three new housing projects across the city. In total, the projects will add more than 200 affordable rental units for low-income households.
