Eugene housing costs remain high
Median housing costs in Eugene are high compared to other Oregon cities, especially after factoring in the relatively low wages of the Eugene area, according to the city’s Housing Implementation Pipeline report.
According to data from Zillow and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, of the nine Oregon cities with populations between 60,000 and 200,000, Eugene’s rent is the second most expensive after adjusting for wages.
