EUGENE, Ore. – The Rite Aid store in west Eugene’s Echo Hollow neighborhood is preparing to shut its doors, one of more than 30 locations closing across Oregon as the company undergoes its second bankruptcy filing in less than a year.
Pharmacy services at the Echo Hollow Road location have already stopped, and the store is expected to close entirely in the near future. The closure leaves one fewer pharmacy option for residents in the area.
