Business leaders from across the Springfield/Eugene area turned out in full force on June 26 for a very special joint Business After Hours celebrating the 70th anniversary of Chambers Construction and showcasing the newly built Market of Choice Field and grandstand at Civic Park in Eugene.
Co-hosted by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, the event drew more than 600 attendees, making it one of the largest joint networking events in recent years. Guests enjoyed a carnival-themed evening filled with delicious food and drinks, creative games, photo ops, raffle prizes, and of course, networking opportunities.
Interactive activities like the Hammer Race, Ring Toss, and Giant Jenga created fun and creative moments for attendees to mingle, share laughs, and build new relationships. One of the many highlights was a high-energy raffle emceed by Bre Boersma and Mary Ann Reilly of the Springfield Chamber.
The event program featured remarks from: Debi Creager, COO & CFO at Chambers Construction and current Board Chair at the Springfield Chamber; Vonnie Mikkelsen, President & CEO of the Springfield Chamber; Brittany Quick-Warner, President & CEO of the Eugene Chamber; Dave Bakke, President & CEO of Chambers Construction; and Bev Smith, Executive Director at KidSports.
Each speaker spoke to the vital role that collaboration plays in building both strong infrastructure and strong communities.
