Heat advisories for Douglas, Benton, Linn, and Lane Counties this week

People without air conditioning should keep fans running and windows closed during the day. Outdoor workers are advised to take frequent breaks in the shade. Officials are urging people to watch for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke and, in case of overheating and confusion, call 911 immediately.
