Good Morning. Today’s conditions are being driven by the same features in the upper atmosphere that were in control for Monday. Today however, the strengthening ridge from yesterday is now moving directly into the PNW. So, its influence is stronger today. With that, conditions will look the same as Monday, but temps will be even warmer. Be ready for the mid 90’s today with many heat related watches and warnings starting up this afternoon. Speaking of the afternoon, we will once again have a blustery wind event for today. Expect up to a 30 MPH gust this afternoon with the winds beginning to accelerate at about 2 pm. We are set for the hottest day of the week tomorrow. Be ready for 100 plus degrees.
