EUGENE, Ore. – The intersection of Chambers Street and West 11th Avenue in Eugene is closed until July 24 as part of a significant paving project aimed at improving infrastructure in the area.
The City of Eugene has ensured that businesses remain accessible despite the construction. Detours have been set up to guide drivers around the work zone.
“This piece of West 11th is ultimately a paving project,” said Marion Suitor Barnes, public affairs manager for the City of Eugene. “It goes from Grant to Charnelton, and it’s been going on for a couple of months now. We’re kind of getting over to that west side of the project.”…
