EUGENE, Ore. – Fire crews responded to an apartment fire late Friday morning that required a temporary closure of Willamette Street in south Eugene, according to Eugene Springfield Fire officials.
ESF authorities said they responded just before 11 a.m. on July 25 to a reported apartment fire on West 29th Street. Responding firefighters arrived to find visible smoke coming from an apartment in a single-story building and quickly contained the fire to a single room before searching for victims, authorities said.
