EUGENE, Ore. — With concern growing over the use of automatic license plate readers — commonly known as Flock cameras — the Eugene Police Department spoke out about how it uses these cameras to assist in investigations.
The Flock cameras were first installed in July, with a total of 57 currently placed throughout the city, with more on the way, according to EPD. They will not be located in residential areas, the department said.
