EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Carlisle, is a 1.5-year-old shepherd mix who loves to play, snuggle, and is looking for his forever family with whom to share his ‘happily ever after.’
This 86-pound pup has a beautiful, soft black and brown coat, a big and happy smile, and arrived at Greenhill Humane Society with a severe muzzle wound but received surgery and top-notch vet care and is ready to move forward, happy and healthy. Greenhill staff said Carlile has lots of energy and while he would love to have a canine sibling of similar size to play with he may be too high-energy for a kitty friend. Carlisle would do best in a home with teenage or older kids as he continues to learn his manners, Greenhill said. Staffers said that he is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines prior to adoption.
Carlisle was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases a homeless pet during the 6 p.m. broadcast.
