Cascades Raptor Center welcomes two baby owls to its ambassador team

EUGENE, Ore. — Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene has introduced two fluffy new faces to its ambassador team: a baby Snowy Owl and a baby Northern Hawk Owl.

“Not only are these two new babies adorable, but they play an important role as Educational Ambassadors,” said Julie Collins, Executive Director at Cascades Raptor Center. “Their species are not commonly scene in the Pacific Northwest, so they can help us highlight other ecosystems and the important part we can play in saving those ecosystems. It is so much fun to be able to share how Northern Hawk Owls and Snowy Owls live in the natural world.”

To celebrate their arrival, the Center has launched a special “baby shower” campaign. Community members who donate to Cascades Raptor Center between August 1st and August 18th will be entered to win an exclusive private encounter with the owlets, as well as a swag bag of Cascades Raptor Center goodies and merchandise. Donations toward the campaign can be made at www.cascadesraptorcenter.org/donate…
