62-Year-Old Oregon Driver in Stolen Car Tasered After Threatening Deputies With Club

A 62-year-old man from Albany, driving a stolen vehicle, was tasered by a sheriff’s office sergeant when he threatened deputies with a club.

The drama unfolded late last Saturday night when the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a stolen vehicle being driven recklessly in Junction City.

The driver managed to elude a Benton County Sheriff’s deputy, and officers were deployed to the scene where they used spike strips to deflate the vehicle’s tires.

Chase Ends When the Driver Crashed Into a Patrol Truck
