Law enforcement agencies implement DUII blitz; emphasize seatbelt safety in Oregon

COOS COUNTY, Ore. — Law enforcement agencies across the state are once again implementing a DUII enforcement blitz before children head back to school in a few weeks. This means there will be extra patrol units out to ensure that people are safe on the roads.

The Eugene Police Department recommend always selecting a designated driver when going out to drink, and keeping an eye out for friends who may have had too much.
