EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Hippo, is a young terrier/pit bull mix who is a loving and smart boy seeking out his fur-ever home!
Greenhill Humane Society staffers said that this one-year-old pup weighs 60 pounds and, while he takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, once acclimated, he becomes a puddle of love. Hippo loves to show off his ‘sits’ and ‘shakes’ and is very receptive to training, staff said. Hippo would best be suited for a home with older kids as he continues to work on his puppy behaviors.
