Emergency closures announced as fire crews battle Emigrant Fire

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Emigrant Fire continues to challenge firefighters as it burns in a remote area southwest of Indigo Springs Campground.

According to the Complex Incident Management Team Northwest 13, the fire, fueled by dead trees and new growth, is approximately 7,400 acres in size.
