EUGENE, Ore. — A PeaceHealth Riverbend employee was ranked number one out of 16,000 during this year’s annual PeaceHealth Mission and Values Awards, clenching the Collaboration Award for her work with the hospital system’s youngest patients.
Child Life Specialist Megan Massey, whose been with PeaceHealth for eight years, said it was a shock of a lifetime to receive the award.
“I am like a teacher about the hospital. So my job is to help kids understand new diagnoses or procedures or ways that we’re going to take care of them here in the hospital,” she said…
