Lane County, OR – A Creswell man was arrested Saturday afternoon after allegedly setting fire to a trailer in Lane County, authorities said.
According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and Oregon State Troopers responded to the 34100 block of Walnut Lane, north of Creswell, around 1 p.m. on September 13 for reports of a disorderly male. Witnesses told deputies the suspect, identified as 61-year-old Patrick Clancy Croson of Creswell, allegedly started a fire inside a fifth-wheel trailer on the property.
Deputies deployed an armored rescue vehicle and a drone to support firefighters as they worked to control the blaze, since Croson’s whereabouts and intentions were initially unclear.
