COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – Lane County Sheriff’s deputies faced a tense situation on September 15 when serving a court-ordered eviction in Cottage Grove. A man inside the residence allegedly made threatening remarks, prompting deputies to request backup.
According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, the Crisis Negotiation Team attempted to communicate with the individual, who refused to exit.
