New clinic and recuperation wing open to serve West Eugene’s Everyone Village residents

EUGENE, Ore. — PeaceHealth, Everyone Village, and Volunteers in Medicine will celebrate the grand opening of a new 10-bed recuperation wing and a fully equipped two-room primary care clinic at Everyone Village, a transitional community in West Eugene. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will feature brief remarks from partners, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and tours of the new facilities.

“Being able to support people in their health care journey outside the walls of the hospital is essential to maintaining wellness,” said Susan Blane, Community Health Director for PeaceHealth Oregon. “This on-site clinic makes care so accessible that it truly changes what’s possible for recovery.”

“These services will bring health and wellness directly to those who need it most, removing barriers and creating a truly powerful path to recovery,” said Gabe Piechowicz, Founder and Executive Director of Everyone Village. “This partnership brings together established, successful community programs to achieve outcomes we could never imagine on our own, and it’s a model that can grow well beyond West Eugene.”…
