SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — An accident on Jasper Road claimed the life of a 33-year-old cyclist on September 12, 2025.
According to the Springfield Police Department (SPD), police units were dispatched around 9:21 p.m. to the 4200 block of Jasper Road following reports of a vehicle versus bicyclist traffic crash.
Upon arrival, officers found the cyclist down and unresponsive in the roadway. Police say the individual was transported by medics to Riverbend Hospital but, unfortunately, did not survive…
