Eugene police catch suspects in burglary spree targeting Asian-American homes

EUGENE, Ore. – Seven people suspected of targeting Asian-American families in the Eugene area have been apprehended, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials identified the suspects as 27-year-old Steven Alexander Quirogasolano, 31-year-old Robinson Camacho Rodriguez, 26-year-old William Steven Rodriguez, 24-year-old Denison Martinez, 27-year-old Jesson Quintero, 44-year-old Jhon Alexander Quintero, and 24-year-old Jhon Quintero.

The arrests followed a chaotic scene late Thursday night that prompted a shelter-in-place order for several hours, police said. A search warrant was served on Oct. 9 in the 2400 block of Skyline Boulevard. Eugene Police Chief Skinner explained that during a city council meeting about pausing Flock license plate reading cameras, one of those cameras captured a plate that led to the search warrant.
