Lane County deputies catch armed burglar in Coburg neighborhood

COBURG, Ore. – A suspicious vehicle led to the arrest Thursday morning of a man in a rural area east of Coburg, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.

LCSO officials said that a deputy discovered the vehicle blocking a driveway on Selby Way on Oct. 9 at about 7 a.m. Deputies found a suspect, identified as Tanner Keading Bell, 27, of Albany, armed with a handgun. He was detained without incident after residents reported a male walking through yards.

Further investigation revealed Bell had burglarized a nearby residence. He now faces multiple charges, including burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, criminal trespass, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle…
