EUGENE, Ore. – One of the suspects involved in an alleged burglary ring targeting Asian-American families in Eugene has been released from jail.
Denison Martinez, also known as Derinson Martinez-Grandas, was released from the Lane County Jail on Sunday. A release agreement has not yet been made public in Lane County Circuit Court. Martinez and six other suspects face charges of first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, both of which are felonies. The group is suspected of being part of an organized theft ring responsible for nearly two dozen local burglaries over a two-year period.
Eugene police have declined to comment on the matter…
