Eugene schools test emergency response in earthquake drill

EUGENE, Ore. – Students at a local school practiced a crucial earthquake drill on Thursday morning, marking an important step in ensuring safety during potential emergencies.

The drill took place on Oct. 16, with students taking cover under their desks to simulate a real earthquake scenario. Principal Dana Burmmett emphasized the importance of communication during such events.
