EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon Recovery and Treatment Center celebrated the grand opening of its third location on Garfield Street, the West Eugene Treatment Center, on Thursday afternoon.
This new facility, which celebrated its grand opening to the public on Oct. 23, is the latest addition to the network of opioid withdrawal treatment clinics serving the Eugene-Springfield community. The center aims to expand access to recovery support and integrated care for those affected by opioid use disorder.
“We were just looking at a way we can meet the needs of the community,” said Matt Owen, managing director of the ORTC. “And get closer to our clientele because we’ve noticed that recovery is usually easier closer to home with less travel. Less time someone has to take out of their day to get to where they want to go.”…
