When you walk into Tavern on Main, it feels like a joint where Frank Sinatra might commandeer a booth and hold court. Classy, in a 1950s way. And yet. This is still down-to-earth Springfield. Can you bring kids? Sure. Wear a ball cap at the table? Definitely. Vanessa Salvia introduces us to one of the owners, a former pro skateboarder who one day stumbled into kitchen work.
