EUGENE, Ore. – Handing out anything while at an intersection, stop sign or stop light in a running vehicle to a pedestrian could result in a $50 fine, if a proposed city ordinance becomes law in Eugene.
“I can’t imagine any reason why I would want to support an ordinance like that,” Eugene local Michael Caley said. “If I want to give them money, I’ll give them money.”
