Eugene seafood restaurant raffles dinner to aid local hunger fight

EUGENE, Ore. – Local businesses and organizations are joining forces to tackle community hunger in Lane County.

Fisherman’s Market, a popular seafood restaurant in Eugene, is raffling off a fresh Alaskan king crab dinner for four to six people. The proceeds will support Burrito Brigade, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food waste. Ryan Rogers, owner of Fisherman’s Market, explained the partnership.

“So we’ve partnered with Burrito Brigade to do a fundraiser for them because they have a big new capitol construction project going on,” Rogers said. “It’s only natural that I’d wanna give back to the community because the community is so good to me.”…
