Woman pleads guilty to manslaughter in connection with fatal Eugene stabbing

A 65-year-old woman pleaded guilty Friday, Nov. 7, to the fatal stabbing of a man she had been living with at a Eugene residence, according to court documents and previous police statements.

Cynthia Christine Fletcher admitted to first-degree manslaughter in the fatal March stabbing of 63-year-old David James Valentine as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, according to court documents.
