Wintry weather is headed to Oregon this week, with chilly temperatures predicted for the valley and snow falling in the mountains.
Northwest Oregon is going to see a cold spell starting Thursday, which will result in snow in the Cascades, the National Weather Service predicted.
NWS said the Cascades passes will likely see at least 6 inches of snow this week. The agency’s Portland office said the Santiam and Willamette passes both have a 70% to 80% chance of seeing this much snow, and the Government Camp pass has a 50% chance. Snow is predicted to fall Nov. 13 and 14…
