Stolen car found in Springfield due to Flock camera being accidentally activated

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A Flock camera on 28th Street and Olympic Avenue unexpectedly activated and detected a stolen vehicle on Nov. 8 at 11:41 a.m.

This incident occurred after a Flock technician mistakenly turned the camera back on, unaware it had been intentionally deactivated. The technician had received an alert about a camera outage and was dispatched to fix it.
