On November 7, 2025, a traffic accident occurred near the intersection of Pioneer Parkway East and ‘F’ Street in Springfield, Oregon. The crash involved a 2018 Hyundai Elantra and a 2010 Audi A6. The Springfield Police Department reported that the Audi was traveling north and hit the driver’s side of the westbound Hyundai. Officers arrived within a minute of the 911 call. They found the Hyundai’s driver unresponsive. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
