Despite not having a single in-state commitment and its commitments hailing from an average of nearly 1,500 miles outside of Oregon, the Ducks have assembled one of the pound-for-pound best recruiting classes in the country — again.
A year after signing the No. 4 class in the nation and making a run at the top spot, Dan Lanning has the Ducks right in the thick of things again in 2026. Oregon currently sits at No. 3 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, but is just three-tenths of a point back of No. 1 USC.
Arguably even more impressive is that the Ducks lead the country with five 5-star recruits; Notre Dame trails behind them with four, while Alabama and Texas both have three.
