Eugene gas prices rise as national average holds steady

EUGENE, Ore. — Gasoline prices in Eugene have increased by 6.9 cents per gallon over the past week, reaching an average of $3.51 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in the area.

Despite this rise, prices are still 18.7 cents lower than a month ago but 23.1 cents higher than a year ago. The cheapest station in Eugene was priced at $3.15 per gallon yesterday, while the most expensive was $4.19 per gallon, marking a $1.04 difference.

In contrast, the national average for gasoline remains unchanged at $3.03 per gallon, though it is 2.5 cents higher than a year ago. Diesel prices have seen a slight increase of 0.8 cents, now averaging $3.777 per gallon nationally…
