Purple sneakers and 15,000 steps a day: Willamette High principal keeps on the move

Alyssa Dodds rolled a cart of coffees through the halls of Willamette High School, hurrying to deliver the last lattes to teachers before the 11:20 a.m. passing period.

Teachers had been at the school until 8 p.m. the night before because of parent-teacher conferences, and she wanted to treat them.
