Some 96,000 Medicaid enrollees in Lane County are about to be switched from PacificSource to Trillium as the administrator of their health care benefits. State officials and Trillium executives held a “listening session” yesterday to explain the transition and answer questions.
One concern is what happens in cases when a doctor or other provider has been seeing patients via PacificSource coverage, but is not part of Trillium’s network. Trillium officials said they are committed to trying to close the gap so most enrollees will not have to switch providers. Ashli Blow reports…
