Lane County schools push for e-waste recycling before deadline

EUGENE, Ore. – Schools in Lane County are gearing up for the 2026 Electronics Recycling Competition. According to Lane County Waste Management, the deadline for registration is today.

Schools will compete to recycle the most electronic waste, including old cell phones, televisions, and cords. The annual event aims to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote sustainable living.
