EUGENE, Ore. – Enthusiasm and innovation filled Cal Young Middle School as 14 student teams from across the region gathered Saturday for the inaugural LEGO League Robotics Tournament.
The event, held on Dec. 13, marked a significant milestone in the local community. The theme for this year’s challenge was “Unearthed.” After months of preparation in engineering, coding, teamwork, and creative problem-solving, students showcased their innovation projects and competed in fast-paced robot matches. For sisters Juliette and Eleanor Fike from Eugene, the competition held special significance.
